Become a Vamos Bem! volunteer
Vamos Bem! has four volunteer teams. These include:
Helping Hands Volunteer
Helping hands volunteers are short term, specific tasks working directly with those in need. You can join our helping hands call list to be contacted when a person in need in your area or area of interest comes to our attention. We will contact you about your availability as a request comes in.
We are always looking to know who might be available to help when help is needed. Is that you?
Outreach Team
Our outreach team identifies and fosters relationships with institutions to help us grow.
At this time we are preparing an online resources library and are seeking help to identify additional programs as a guide for helping to select the best fit.
Communications Team
This team works with media, government, private agencies and other communities to help establish Vamos Bem! as a resource that can help.
This team sets standards in communications and maintains the Vamos Bem! website, newsletter, social media activities.
We are currently seeking a Newsletter editor who will work with all Vamos Bem! communities to distribute monthly upcoming events.
Events Programming
This team works with Vamos Bem! workshops presenters. It maintains our Google calendar and assists in scheduling of venues both in person and online.
We are currently seeking one or two persons to work with our presenters and a videographer/photographer to record materials for our website and social media accounts.
Volunteering with Vamos Bem! is my way to contribute meaningfully with the community I love and appreciate so very much.
